Just a note to thank you both for a marvellous 5 days I had at the Festival, every day was a learning curve, ranging from the professional day for the teachers to attending master classes/plus informative professional talks and the concerts, there was certainly a lot to take in over 4 days.
It is no easy task organising these events on a grand scale so well done and to your guest artists Tara-Helen O'Connor, Jean Ferrandis and Uwe Grodd who were an absolute pleasure to listen to live.
Thank you also for allowing me to show people my hand massage and lower forearm stretches which was eagerly accepted so I hope they continue to do their stretching etc. for their future playing and wellbeing.
I was absolutely wrapped to be able to go out on stage with the adult class + including Tara-Helen O' Connor and play Dona nobis pacem that Lyndie organised for the final concert, it was just orsome for a 2nd Grader what ever age. Thanks Lyndie.
Ever tried to learn /practice a new piece with the help of Kay from Canberra and Mary from Auckland in Bonython Hall with at least six or eight people trying out new piccolos and flutes in a high register, it is certainly a sharp learning curve in concentration cutting out background noise at that high decibel level.
Again many thanks for a memorable weekend and I certainly will be attending the next festival.

Congratulations on such a wonderful festival. i was proud to be a part of it and, despite the heavy workload, I ended up having a really great time!! Working closely with an artist such as Jean was a real treat.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for the great Festival! You did a marvellous job, everything was just perfect and I had a fantastic time in Adelaide.
Of course the opportunity of seeing Jean again was a big highlight for me but getting to know you, and all the fabulous Australian players was a beautiful experience.
I came back home full of energy and great musical memories.
I hope to have more chances to see you in the future either in Australia or New Zealand.
Warm regards,
Luca

Just wanted to say thank you very much for all your hard work in organising the Flute Festival. Although I wasn't able to stay for all of it, the part I did attend was great. The program was really interesting, the organisation was excellent and everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves.
I know it was a huge amount of work for you, but your efforts to make this so successful are really appreciated. Congratulations, and thank you again
Best wishes

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for the flute festival, it was my first year and it was amazing!! I learnt so much, and everyone was so talented and lovely :) you will definetly see me in 2 years, and im looking forward to it!!
One thing maybe I could suggest is to have merchandise to buy there from the flute festival. ie, mugs, shirts, hoodies bla bla bla. But that was the only thing.
Thank you again!! I want every day to be a flute festival!!
:)

I would like to thank you for organising such a wonderful event. I have not attended a flute festival before and found it to be an amazing experience.
My son Tom is 13 and learning the flute. He had the 'best weekend of his life'. Some of his highlights were:
playing an 18 carat gold Pearl Opera
meeting Peter Sheridan
seeing Peter Sheridan perform
playing a sub contra bass
playing contra bass on stage with Peter Sheridan at the closing concert
Thanks again for a wonderful event,
I have already promised to take Tom to the next festival wherever it is.

I'm sure this would be one of many emails following the fantastic week end.
Something for absolutely every one!!!!!!!!!!!
Although my lips have never touched a flute it was very informative- the BEST talk on rhetoric that I have ever heard i.e. not the least off putting and the visuals were very entertaining and grabbed attention. I managed to tell her afterwards.
Nothing more to say except
BRING ON THE NEXT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
